The CS 9300 offers state-of-the-art technology to help us accurately diagnose and deliver treatment, all without having to leave our practice. Detailed CT scans allow our team to clearly view sinus and ear structures in order to devise an appropriate treatment plan and answer any questions patients have about their care and treatment options.
Reduced Exposure to Radiation
Because the CS 9300 utilizes cone beam CT technology, patients are exposed to significantly less radiation than with conventional CT exams. By using a lower radiation dose, our CT system helps us adhere to the ALARA Principle – or, “As Low As Reasonably Achievable” – which we follow to ensure every precaution is taken to minimize patient exposure to radiation.
Increased Patient Comfort and Convenience
The CS 9300 reduces the need for patients to schedule a separate visit to the hospital radiology department or an imaging center and can also cut down on the number of required office visits. Additionally, the cost of having a CT scan performed in-house is sometimes less than having scans performed at the hospital or in an outside imaging center.
Featuring an open design, patients typically find scans performed on the CS 9300 more comfortable than conventional CT exams. Patients can also stand, sit, or remain in their wheelchair during the exam.
